Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist Troy is 13 years in private practice having graduated with degree in Physical Therapy in 2008. Described by clients as personal, professional & friendly, he is interested in finding out about the person as well as the injury complaint.
Troy creates a respectful atmosphere that is non threatening and without fear. Troy practices hands on techniques in clinic and gives clients home exercise programs that enable the client to help themselves.
Troy has a keen interest in many sports. He has huge appetite for learning and gaining new knowledge in his field. With this in mind expect an understanding of your injury and the most up to date treatment techniques.
Troy is a family man, surfer, stand up paddler, open water swimmer, trail runner and hill walker.
He has a massive interest in movement of any variety and strives to make his clients move best in their chosen hobbies, activities and daily life.
His practice deals with everyone from 10 years of age to the elderly, dealing with pain and movement, getting people back to the best version of themselves.
Troy has worked with Rugby, Soccer, Gaelic football and hurling teams in Sligo and was the Sligo Rugby Senior Team Physio for many years.
Troy has also worked with Irelands best surfers, top Irish athletes and Junior Olympic competitors.
He most enjoys working with the general public dealing with issues that curtail their daily living activities whether it be a grandparent struggling to lift a child, a office worker with repetitive stress or the casual athlete who’s training has stalled due to an unexpected niggle.
Troy is a member of two Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist professional bodies.
